Zach joined 89.1 WBOI as a reporter and local host for All Things Considered. He currently hosts Morning Edition.

Previously, he worked for WGLT in Normal, Ill. and reported from the Illinois Capitol for WICS-TV.

Zach graduated from Illinois State University with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor in political science. He has his master's degree in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois at Springfield.

Fort Wayne’s musical community is growing, as the Fort Wayne School of Rock held its grand opening last Saturday with a special Halloween celebration.

Parents were able to check out the facilities and met instructors while their kids ran around collecting candy, banging on drums and exploring all of the available instruments on display.

Fort Wayne has elected a new City Clerk.

Republican Lana Keesling will take over the office beginning January 1, making her the first Republican to be elected to the position of City Clerk in nearly four decades.

As Major League Baseball enjoys its annual World Series, the Fort Wayne TinCaps are spending their October celebrating another successful minor league season before the winter.

Season ticket holders and friends of the Fort Wayne TinCaps gathered in the Suite Level Lounge to watch Game 1 of this year’s World Series. While fans of both the New York Mets and Kansas City Royals enjoyed a spread of food famous from each city before the first pitch of the night, team president Mike Nutter was meeting with attendees and talking about the TinCaps success this season.

Golf season is coming to a close for several local parks, but much of the summer was plagued by rain and flooding, resulting in a significant decrease in participation around golf courses.

Shoaff and McMillen Parks will be the first of several closing their golf courses within the next week in preparation for the winter months.

While closing the courses is standard practice for this time of the year, many of them saw significant decreases in activity in the summer due to massive rain and flooding levels.
