Artlink has a new Executive Director. The non-profit gallery in Fort Wayne approved Amber Recker for the position on Monday.
Under the leadership of its current director Deb Washler, Artlink moved to the Auer Center downtown in 2011, where it expanded its exhibition and classroom space. Washler announced her resignation last month, and is headed to the Lincoln Financial Foundation.
Amber Recker currently works for Punch Films in Fort Wayne. She previously worked for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, Business People and Fort Wayne Living Magazines.
Recker also co-founded her own business,The Ginger Kitchen Gourmet Ice Cream. She is a contributing writer for Whatzup magazine, Fort Wayne’s Insider Blog, and WBOI.
Recker will begin at Artlink in September.
