"Sparks of Promise" Ignites Passion for Learning

The mission of Fort Wayne-based Sparks of Promise Foundation, is to provide enrichment for local low-income children who show creative and academic promise.

Founders Linda Shafer and Kathy Todoran call their young participants "Little Sparks," and they've just completed their first year of programming. So, they're ready to celebrate.

WBOI's Julia Meek met with Shafer and Todoran to learn more about the program and the excitement it has ignited.
