The Blue Plate Special is a weekly one-hour long program recorded and produced in Fort Wayne, IN. Hosted by Dylan McElhoe and Jack Ankenbruck, The Blue Plate Special focuses primarily on blues music and its influence on history, culture, and everyday life.

Jack Ankenbruck and Dylan McElhoe are local musicians and share a love for music and the blues. Though they are younger than most, the duo have combined to perform in many noteworthy settings; winner of a DownBeat Magazine Award; performances at The Detroit International Jazz Festival; performances at the Taste of the Arts Festival; performances at the WBOI Jazz Festival; among other local performances. Through the show, the two wish to expose listeners to the music they love and educate their audience on the vast history of music and culture.
