After years of big ideas, requests for funding and construction, Fort Wayne’s renovated Clyde Theatre in Quimby Village has officially opened its doors.

Just over a year after funding was secured for completing the renovation of the historic Clyde Theatre on the city's south side, the work is done, which means the doors are ready to open on one of Indiana's premier arts and entertainment venues.

Years in the making, the City of Fort Wayne helped break ground on renovations to the historic Clyde Theatre Thursday afternoon. Stakeholders and investors were on hand to help launch the projected year-long renovation process.
