Special Events Coordinator and Office Manager

Lea joined NIPR in Fall 2000. She is responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks. She organizes station special events, such as Issues & Ales, the Picked by the Pros Wine Pairing Dinner, 89.1 Listener Meeups,  Meet the Music Live broadcasts and coordinates the appearances of NPR and public radio personalities here locally. 

89.1 WBOI announces Issues & Ales, March 30th, 7-9PM at Calhoun Street Soups, Salads, and Spirits.  This event is moderated by Lisa Ryan and Zach Bernard of WBOI news. It features panels of community leaders and experts discussing important issues in our community.

2015 NPR by David Gilkey

  Join 89.1 WBOI on Thursday, September 17 at 7pm for An Evening With NPR’s David Greene.

He’ll give a behind-the-scenes look at NPR and Morning Edition, and talk about his experiences in Russia which resulted in his recent book, Midnight in Siberia. Greene will be available after the lecture for a book signing. Books will be available for purchase at the event. Tickets are $25/each if purchased before September 1st at wboi.org or 260-452-1189.
