Farm-To-Fork Restaurant Opens In Fort Wayne

Farm-to-fork restaurants are gaining in popularity nationwide, and tomorrow, thanks to Nicky and Matthew Nolot, that cuisine makes its long-awaited debut in Fort Wayne.

The venue on Harrison Street is called Tolon and the owners call the locally grown menu “Midwest modern.”

For more of the tasty story, WBOI’s Julia Meek met with the couple for a sneak peek into their unique take on gourmet dining.

Tolon, 614 S. Harrison Street

Opens February, 18, 2016

A Fort Wayne native, Julia is a radio host, graphic artist, and community volunteer, who has contributed to NIPR both on- and off-air for forty years. Besides being WBOI's arts & culture reporter, she currently co-produces and hosts Folktales and Meet the Music.
