If you can't wait until Saint Patrick's Day to enjoy a bit of Irish music and good cheer, Heartland Sings is all set ane ready to transport you to the Emerald Isle.

Two special seasonal performances, featuring a wide variety of musical styles and traditional instruments, will be presented on Saturday and Sunday, March 10th and 11th, at the Allen County Public Library. Both solo and full ensemble pieces will be featured, backed by what Heartland music director, Maestro Robert Nance calls this "pop Celtic orchestra."

Maestro Robert Nance promises an enjoyable ride through the gamut of Celtic musical traditions.

With a mission of changing lives through song, Heartland Sings strives for excellence in programming, and focuses on Pop, Jazz, Celtic and Opera.

Earlier this week, WBOI's Julia Meek met with Nance, and vocal artist, Ashlee Bickley, to learn what Celtic landscapes would be woven into this enchanting tapestry, and the color palette being used to paint the highlights along the musical itinerary.
