"From Fencerows to Foodsheds" is a brand new documentary about the value of sustainable food systems here in Indiana, directed by Janet Katz.
Its Fort Wayne premiere is set for this Saturday at the Cinema Center, as part of the city's 7th annual Taste of the Arts Festival.
Adding authenticity to the dozens of interviews woven into its story, the film is narrated by Zachary Hawkins, a young, 6th generation farmer from North Manchester.
For a look behind the scenes, and into the farmlands the film showcases, WBOI's Julia Meek met with Katz, and cinematographer, Joe Noorthoek earlier this week in the Madge Rothschild studios.
