Hoosier Painter's Traveling Bicentennial Exhibit Celebrates 100th Anniversary Of State Park System

Thanks to the Richmond Art Museum's Legacy Project, Hoosier artist, Rick Wilson is celebrating Indiana's State Park System's 100th anniversary, and the state's Bicentennial, with a traveling exhibit he calls "The Nature of Art: Painted Parks."

The 70 piece show opens Thursday evening, right here in Fort Wayne, at the Castle Gallery, with an opening reception that features a talk and painting demonstration by the artist.

WBOI's Julia Meek met with Wilson earlier this week, to learn what fuels his deeply-rooted Hoosier pride, and where this artistic adventure has taken him.
