Fort Wayne's Arena Dinner Theatre is getting set to end its season with a bang--literally--in the form of Stephen Sondheim's off-beat musical "Assassins."

The role of Sara Jane Moore has been on Melissa Shaw's bucket list for nearly 20 years.

Presented in a vaudevillian-style format, audiences will meet America's presidential assassins, and would-be assassins as this look at the dark side of the American experience unfolds.

Alternately bold, thought-provoking, and alarmingly funny, the story amuses and entertains, while revealing uneasy truths about the American dream.

For a sneak peek at this satirical musical's point and impact, WBOI's Julia Meek met with its director, Christopher Murphy, and lead actress, Melissa Shaw to discuss how this murder, mayhem and music will come together.
