NPR’s All Things Considered host Kelly McEvers recently reached number one on iTunes with her new podcast, called Embedded, which takes a story from the news and goes deeper.
WBOI’s Zach Bernard spoke with McEvers about the first episode of Embedded, which looks into an HIV outbreak and the people in the center of it in Austin, Indiana. According to McEvers, the decision to investigate the outbreak in Austin began with one broad question.
