State and federal authorities Tuesday raided the suburban Indianapolis home of Subway sandwich icon Jared Fogle. The action comes after the head of Fogle’s foundation was arrested on child pornography charges.

Indiana State Police and federal authorities were at Fogle’s Zionsville home early Thursday. Fogle is known for losing more than 200 pounds on a Subway sandwich diet and then becoming a corporate pitchman.

A local Justice Department spokesman says Fogle has not been arrested or charged with a crime.

In May, the head of Fogle’s foundation, Russel Taylor, was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography.

Local media outlets report child pornography investigators were involved in the raid and electronics from the home were searched. The FBI says the nature of the investigation cannot be released.

Subway said in a statement it’s shocked about the news but believes it’s related to the investigation into Taylor.

Late this morning, Fogle was seen on Indianapolis television leaving his home, but did not make any comments at the time.
