Popcorn has long been a popular snack food, and while every day is a great day for celebrating that tasty fact, October is "National Popcorn Popping Month."
About six years ago, enterprising college student Lindsey Hively turned her passion into a profession, opening her own boutique popcorn enterprise in Columbia City.
Today, Poptique Popcorn has doubled its business and expanded into Jefferson Pointe in Fort Wayne.
In honor of this month's celebration, WBOI's Julia Meek met with Hively at the Madge Rothschild Studios.
